Easter Holidays

We hope everyone had a good break.  This has been the most taxing of holidays we have ever had, everyone seems to have a different school holiday.  Hopefully everything will return to normal after the Royal Wedding weekend and everyone will be working to a similar timetable.  Whatever your holidays were, I hope you had fun.
 
Zumba

New classes are starting as follows :-
 
Colton Village Institute           Tuesdays         7.30pm                 Start Date 19th April
Rawcliffe, York                        Tuesdays         6.00pm                 Start Date 26th April
Fulford, York                           Wednesday     7.00pm                 Start Date 27th April
Woodlesford                           Mondays          6.00pm                 Start Date 9th May

All classes are Adult drop in classes, and are therefore £5 per lesson.  Pre-payment cards are available at a cost of £45 for 15 lessons.
 
Fees

The next ten week block starts week commencing 9th May.  It took a considerable time to collect in the fees in the last payment block, so we are getting the bills to you earlier.  Don’t forget you can pay online via BACS, just get in touch and we will let you have the bank details.  N.B.  Any accounts remaining unpaid after the payment block will be subject to an interest charge of 5%.
 
Alwoodley

All the timetable changes are now in force and running happily.  There will be one or two changes still to make, but we will speak to those concerned in the next week or so to effect those before the new payment block takes effect.    Some classes will be affected due to show rehearsals, so please check the website regularly to ensure you turn up at the right time.
 
Colton

As mentioned above, Zumba is due to start on Tuesday, so come along and  bring your friends.  It will be a beginners class, so don’t panic if you haven’t done it before, everybody will be starting from scratch.  Just have fun.  Lucy says “you’re all great dancers and practice makes perfect, so keep up the good work.
 
East Ardsley

As Show preparations get seriously underway, please double check the website to ensure you know when you are meant to be turning up.    Egg rolling is happening this weekend so bring your coloured eggs - £1 per entry – also there is the decorated egg competition, again £1 per entry.
 
Morley

Natasha starts at Morley this week, I hope you will all make her welcome.  She has been at the Centre for a few weeks now shadowing Jenny, so she should already be a familiar face.  Her first challenge is to work with you to sort out your show work.  She is anxious to meet all the parents, so please try and make the time to drop in to see her.  I look forward to hearing how you all get on.
 
Woodlesford

Woodlesford will be open on Monday 2nd May.  See School Year for details. I have been told that the “Woodlesford Crew” want t-shirts.  I will get order forms to you so that orders can be placed.  Zumba is starting at Woodlesford after the Bank Holiday.
 
New Teachers/Centres

As you will see above we are venturing out of Leedsand starting new Centres in York.  We have a wonderfully enthusiastic teacher called Rachel Witty.  Rachel will be teaching Street and Zumba in Fulford and Rawcliffe – see the centres for further details.
 
Show

The costumes have already been decided upon.  If you are a Saturday student then your costumes are due to be paid for this Saturday (16th).  Any problems please get in touch.  I need to order them all this week so that we can ensure they fit before the Big Day.  We are now doing three performances, so please see your teacher to get reserve tickets for the correct performance.    More information regarding the Show will be sent directly to the performers, so please ensure you are on my list!!!!
