Deborah Coultish

Deborah is on the Board of Trustees for the Royal Academy of Dance

Deborah is Chair of the Regional Advisory Committee for the Royal Academy of Dance.

She has been dancing since she was three years old.  She completed her training with Gill Caplan in Leeds.

She gained the Teaching Certificate of the RAD in July 1997.  Deborah was further awarded the Academy’s Diploma in Teaching Studies in October 2000.  Deborah is also qualified to teach for the International Dance Teachers Association after having passed their examinations in March 1987. 

Sophie Crosthwaite

Sophie graduated from the Stella Mann College after studying with Angela Reynolds in Ossett. There she gained her teaching qualification with the ISTD, and went on to perform in many touring productions.  Sophie also works with Theatre Train in Wakefield and Leeds. 

Sophie teaches Musical Theatre and Street Level Street Dance classes at East Ardsley on Mondays and Street Level Street Dance at Drighlington on Wednesdays


Jenny Dean

Jenny started dancing at 2 and did her early training with Linda Wallace and then transferred to The Deborah Coultish School of Dance when she was 15 where she completed her training. She has a BA(Hons) in Dance Practice and Performance from the University of Wolverhampton where she attained an excellent  2:1. 

Jenny has recently achieved the NCSSE (The National Council for Spirit Safety and Education) Level 1 - Cheer Dance and Coaching Principles and Ethics and Level 2 - Program Management and Cheer Fundamentals.

Jenny has a special interest in teaching children with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Jenny teaches every element of dance within the school at Alwoodley, East Ardsley and Morley.

Jemma Appleson

Jemma started training with Deborah when she was 3, whilst the School was run by Gill Caplan.  Jemma is an exceptionally gifted student and is currently studying to be a personal trainer with Harrogate College 

Jemma teaches Street Level Street Dance at Alwoodley on Tuesdays.
