Timetable

Here is the new timetable.  I started by trying to please everybody, and failed miserably.  My only option, then, was to go back to the original plan of fitting the classes in around the teacher and hall availability.  The attached timetable is the result of that process.   I know it will not suit everybody, and am therefore extremely sorry if I lose children because of their other activities, I did try, I promise.  If those children who do do other activities wish to join classes at the other Centre, then they will be made extremely welcome, so perhaps that is an option.

Change in payment Terms

We are changing the payments system.  From now on the following will apply :-

1.     Payment will be in ten week blocks (see the School Year 2008-09)

2.     Simplification of prices.  There will be two prices and that is it.  £4 per hour for classes up to and including Grade 5 and £5 per hour for all others including adult classes. The hourly rate will be applied on a pro rata basis. e.g. a half hour Pre-School class is £2 and an hour and a quarter Intermediate Ballet class is £6.25.

3.    Abolishment of paper bills.  The onus will therefore be on the parent/student to calculate their bill - don't worry, it will be easy.

4.     Payment will be in 2 ways only, online via the website (to be added soon) and by cheque.

5.     Payment on first week of block ONLY.  This will stop our nagging you for payment.  The only exception will be for those whose bill is over £100. Postdated cheques are allowed.

6.     There will be a cap on fees of £150 per 10 week block. Therefore even if your fees total more than £150 e.g. Advanced Tap (£50), Grade 5 Ballet (£40), Intermediate Foundation Ballet (£50) and Street Level 4 (£40) the bill will still be £150.

7.     The first lesson is FREE for new pupils and for those existing pupils who are starting a new class.

8.     A 10% discount applies for younger siblings. This applies to all classes taken by a younger sibling. If there are 2 or more younger siblings, each will get the discount.

9.     The 'Tell a friend' discount will still apply (see ….. for details).

10.   If a pupil qualifies for the capped fees of £150, the discounts above will be based on that e.g. the bill for a younger sibling would be £150 - £15 (10%) = £135.

11.   Uniform can be paid for online (to be added soon) or by cheque or cash. We will make the pricing structure a lot simpler. Please pay for your items when you receive them or before if buying online.

12.   Extra lessons, exams, etc will be billed on an ad hoc basis and will appear on the website and at the centres. These can be paid for by cheque or cash. We will look to see if these can be paid for online.
